Highlights from Khalil’s 8th Grade SEASON (2 games | JAN 2024) with Conyers Middle School in Conyers, GA. Crafty dribbler who handles pressure well, shifty enough to get around defender with his dribble and get to the rack. Good shooting range but lacks good mechanics in form. Solid on the defensive end but could show more intensity and passion. Not too vocal on the court. Very good passer/vision. Feeds his teammates on the the break/in transition and when he gets past first-level defenders. Skill sets are very solid. Will need to become super crafty and special at 5’9 if he doesn’t grow during HS. We like the upside of this young man and look forward to seeing his development as a student-athlete over the next 4 years.
