The Newton Boy’s basketball team is off to an early 4-1 start as they look to establish a new identity behind 1st year HC Barry Browner. They’ve lost several pieces most notably McDonald’s All-American Stephon Castle and Indiana Commit Jakai Newton. It’s always the next man up approach on the GHSA Boy’s HS Hoops circuit and this year is no exception. Teams got new pieces and new faces to showcase, ready to step up, step out, and make a name for themselves. Time will tell just how cohesive this Newton Ram unit can be, as they navigate one of the toughest circuits in the country – GHSA Class 7A.
