Christian Anderson
5’8 PG
Class of 2024
Lovett School (GA)
Michigan commit

Christian has punched his ticket to Michigan…as a Sophomore.  He was offered on September 30, and committed on October 6, 2021 per 247Sports.  During the Holiday Hoopsgiving, he showed signs of why Michigan HC Juwan Howard pulled the trigger.  At 5’8, he showed good situations in which he was able to escape defensive pressure with his ball handling and decision making skill sets. Those are must have tools for smaller PG’s these days.  Although his FG% was a bit low that day (6 for 18 & 4 for 12 from 3pt land), he has a solid shooting stroke. Letting it go with confidence and poise, he knocked down several long range bombs during Day 1 of Hoopsgiving and was able to do some damage with his mid range, stop and pop game.  We were impressed with his court awareness, vision, and passing.  He dropped several dimes on the evening in transition making him a threat in the open court running the fast break. Christian made solid decisions during the process of setting up the offense and running their sets as well.  On defense, he was able to stay in front of his opponent off the dribble, stayed active in passing lanes, and showed the ability to read and react.  The Lovett School and their coaching staff allows him the flexibility to make mistakes. This will only build his confidence and allow him to approach the game differently than those on a short leash. With several years to finesse his game on the HS level, Christian Anderson will be ready to rock and roll once he lands on campus at Ann Arbor in the Fall of 2024.
