A defensive guru who prides herself on sitting, sliding, and being disruptive on D but can also contribute big time on the offensive end of the court. Crystal Henderson was special during the Qwikcut Classic Summer Camp featuring some of the top prospects on the girls hoops scene in GA. Crystal is the sister of Scoota Henderson (Scoot recently decided to take his skills to the G-League, signing a pro contract out of HS) and she’s paving her path with a game that’s flashy and fundamentally sound…just like her big bro’. Her man to man defensive principles are special in terms of her ability to stay in front of her opponent, read and react, and keep her hands active and disruptive. She also shows advanced handles, great leadership skills at the PG, a super smooth shooting stroke (her range extends from way beyond the arc), and the ability to keep her teammates happy by feeding them the ball. Crystal has all the tools in her bag to become a top recruit in her class. We rank her 4.5 Stars and look for her to make immediate noise on the recruiting trail during the 2nd AAU session coming up in July 2021.
