2020 F Terren Frank out of Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, CA, has punched his ticket to Texas Christian University. ESPN has him slated as the Number 9 ranked player in the State of CA for his class… and rightfully so. The kid looked special yesterday, October 27, 2019, in an exhibition matchup against Bella Vista Prep (AZ), pouring in 18 points with a few mouth-watering dunks sprinkled in. Terren handles the rock well, gets to the bucket and finishes, and drains the wet ball 15 feet to behind the arc. Terren must continue to fine-tune his ball-handling skills as he will be required to play more of a stretch at the next level. As a senior, in order for his team to stay focused throughout the course of games and not fall victim to scoring lapses, Terren must become much more of a vocal leader out there on the court. Because of their style of play, Sierra Canyon may be prone to giving up big runs this season. Seniors will be called upon to stop scoring droughts and help keep composure intact.
Terren is healthy to start the season, unlike last year when he was on IR to begin the 2018-19 campaign. All signs point to a standout senior performance for this young man, with an emphasis on preparing him for the rigors of D1 competition.
