Saugus defeats Camarillo 43-42 to win The West Coast Holiday Festival hosted by John Burroughs High December 29, 2018.

 

The Saugus Centurion girls basketball team stole a victory away from Camarillo during the West Coast Holiday Festival.  It came down to coach Jason Conn drawing something up, players believing in the system, and a little bit of luck.  Saugus, although they improve to 17-2 with the buzzer beater, still don’t have enough juice in the tank to crack the Popscout Top 20.  But as we see in the clip above that anything can happen…on any given night.

And that’s why we play the game family.
