The Fairfax Lions basketball team has chosen to take a nice winter break and skip a few Xmas tourney’s in the process.  Last year Fairfax played in the San Diego Torrey Pines Invitational around this time. This year their focus/strategy appears to be on early season rest.  ‘Dem’ Fairfax Boys haven’t played since December 7th.  After taking home the ‘ship during the 2018 Rose City Classic (12/1, 56-49 W of Riverside Poly), they’ve played a couple of cream-puffs (on 12/4 a 84-24 thumping of Venice, then a 77-31 dismantling of Palisades on 12/7).

Their next stop will be The 2018 Classic @ Damien (see bracket below). A December 26 opening round marquee match-up features a very dangerous and battle tested IE opponent in Rancho Verde.  The 2018 Classic @ Damien Platinum Division offer teams a chance to show and prove, going up against some of the stiffest competition in Southern Cali’ family.  Look for Fairfax and Coach Steve Baik to bring their A Game.  Rested and ready to rock and roll.  A few clips of Fairfax vs Poly 12/1/2018 during the 2018 Maranatha Rose City Classic Championship.
