Who will be the next big thing? There were many players on had to stake that claim at the Pangos All FROSH / SOPH Camp held at Cerritos College, September 24-25, 2016. Players showing true skillsets at this age means just one thing: someone has been working on their game. It also gave those who were not up to par an idea as to just what they need to work on to improve – and become special. Lab work you feel me.
PopScout was on hand to grab some interviews, take some action shots, and film these young soldiers as they try to make a name for themselves. It’s good to sit-down with these young student athletes and pick their brain to get an idea of what makes them unique and different from all the rest. Although many feel these games are offensive driven – with lackluster efforts being given on the defensive end of the court – you can still gauge a players athletic and skill potential, ability to compete, and who can raise the bar to another level, separating themselves from the competition.
Take a look at the Top 30 game which featured some of the up and coming stars of the future. Interesting to see who will continue to stay in the lab and develop into a 5 star prospect. Remember young soldier, just because you didn’t make it to the Top 30 game, doesn’t mean you won’t be a dapper dandy come senior season. Take a look at where you stand, develop a plan, and get at it. Work to become great.
Become great at what you do.
