Class is in session…and we do mean AP. Kids found out this summer just what it takes – on the basketball court – to compete at a high level . It was kind of like show and tell. Your chance to show the class – in this case the scouts – just what skillsets you’ve been hiding under the table, so to speak. Many of the lauded 5 star student athletes shut it down early, giving others an opportunity to shine. Next man up!
5 Star PG Brandon Williams (2018 Crespi High)- seen here in street clothes, during the 2016 BigFootHoops Tourney – has seen his stock rise, even after choosing to shut it down prematurely this summer. The kid has 13 major offers from D1 schools. You go boy.

Talk about filling big shoes…Loyola has recently graduated two of its top point guards in school history in that of Max Hazzard and Parker-Jackson Cartwright – both of whom now play Division 1 basketball. Enter Khristion Courseault as well as others in the backcourt at Loyola. They’ve been asked to pick up where the two left off. It will be interesting to see just how much skills this young man has adapted from the rigors of AAU Elite Divisions, as well as looking at film on Loyola guards from the past. Gaining that valuable experience and just being on the court – physically and mentally – out there doing what you do, can go a long way. You can begin to breathe a sigh of relief knowing that you’ve been there, done that.
We had a chance to sit down with Mr.Courseault, during the 2016 Nike Fairfax Summer Tourney. We like the head on this young mans’ shoulders. Loyola is hoping he can lead them back to front and center stage, in the ever-competitive Mission League. while make some noise during the playoffs of the 2016-17 Cali’ High School basketball circuit. Time for some new seniors to step up and lead their squads to victory. Put us on your back folks.

Yeah this kid is awesome and very talented on and off the court. Can’t wait to see how he takes advantage of his senior year. Good luck to KC3 and Loyola High.
