Sit Down with Jamal Hartwell

Class of 2018 PG Jamal Hartwell, who pushes the rock for Fairfax High (CA), is as slippery as it comes when handling the rock.  He was the MVP of the 2016 Maranatha Summer Block Party , which featured some very good skilled players that came out to represent their high school teams – not their AAU club.  We had a chance to sit down with Mr. Hartwell during the Nike 30th Annual Fairfax Summer Basketball Classic, who reflected on a win a few days earlier over, reigning State Champion Chino Hills.

Jamal Hartwell receives his MVP award trophy from Maranatha Coach Tucker.  Jamal was also awarded a 13×19 action shot poster, printed on the spot after the game, compliments of PopScout.

Teams in the City Section, including the Westchester Comets, are going to have a difficult time stopping the dynamic duo tandem of Hartwell and gritty 2019 combo guard Ethan Anderson .  It’s going to be some good match ups come Winter.  ESPN has Jamal rated as an 80 grade, 4 star prospect. Now that’s what’s up.

Become great at what you do.
