There were some very good match ups on the last day of the Girls 2015 West Coast Festival Tournament held at John Burroughs high school in Burbank, CA – December 31, 2015. We were able to see a few college commits put in work for their prospective teams and it was a very good display of talent on hand.
Kayla Overbeck 6’2 Forward – Newbury Park (Vanderbilt Commit)

The lefty is very active on the court and plays the game at a high level. Shooting form is sweet and nice touch around the rim. What’s great is that she loves to play on the defensive side of the ball. A slasher who actively gets to the rim. She has the ability to rebound and push the rock to start the break.

The kid can go to work on you if you’re not careful – showing the ability to score form anywhere on the court. Her motor is too high at times as she makes a few over- zealous mistakes but she should be able to tone her game down a bit once she gets to the next level.
Maxpreps has her 3 stars- 90 Grade. Look out for this young lady’s growth and maturity at the next level.
